MAAX™ Campaign Management - Part 1

ASTECH shares tips & tricks of the trade. In this recent WebEx presentation, ASTECH MAAX Specialists discuss how to develop a thorough & accurate campaign management strategy. We've recorded the presentation and published it here on the web for your convenience.

Scene 1

This section contains a Power Point presentation outlining the agenda of the tutorials to come. We speak briefly about the qualities of successful campaign management strategy & provides a sample campaign scenario. Also, we describe campaign history (CAMP) table setup and common fields.

Scene 2

In this section, we discuss creating a new campaign in Campaigner. This discussion involves adding filters, exclusions, & segments. We also highlight setting campaign options, as well as creating segment output files & campaign history output files.

Scene 2 is followed by Q & A 1, in which the question "Can I create a template for campaign options?" is asked.

Also provided is Q & A 2, in which the question is asked, "If the output file is sent for NCOA scrubs and records are dropped, how should that be handled in the campaign history table?"

Scene 3

This section offers discussion concerning segment counts, filtering, & control groups. We also talk about what's involved in creating effective forecasts, using run-time fields & trial runs. This section ends with campaign execution, campaign subtotals, & cumulative totals.

During this discussion, the question is asked, "If a segment is duplicated and random samples are taken from each, will the resulting output records be duplicated?" This question & its answer is reiterated for clarity in Q & A 3.

We hope these presentations are useful and educational. Look for more video presentations to appear on this site in the future.
