EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

In today's competitive employment market, benefits packages are sometimes the only meaningful way in which companies are able to differentiate themselves for prospective employees. ASTECH InterMedia is working hard to build a top-notch benefits package — we hope you agree!

401(k) Plan Our 401(k) plan is administered by The Guardian, an insurance and financial services company based in New York, NY. The plan is generous as well as flexible:

  • All employees are eligible after just 30 days of service, and enrollments occur on the first of every month.

  • You may contribute up to 15 percent of your pay, up to the Federally-regulated maximum of $10,000 per year.

  • ASTECH will match 50 percent of the first six percent of pay you contribute to the plan.

  • You are 100 percent vested in your own contributions and matched funds immediately — there is no vesting period.

  • To meet virtually everyone's investment preferences, the plan includes 27 funds from nine mutual fund companies.
PTO Policy We use a Paid Time Off (PTO) policy that does not distinguish between a sick day and a vacation day — either way, it's a PTO day. PTO is earned at various rates depending on your position in the company. Up to five days of PTO may be carried forward from one year to the next.
RTD Eco-Pass All employees receive an RTD Eco-Pass entitling them to complimentary bus and light rail service throughout RTD's service area. In addition, RTD's Guaranteed Ride Home Program ensures you'll find your way home safely even when the bus isn't running.
Athletic Club Membership All employees are eligible for subsidized, discounted rates to join the Athletic Club at Denver Place. The amenities at ACDP include comprehensive sets of free weights and machines, 25-meter swimming pool, indoor running track, full-size basketball court, saunas & steam rooms, a climbing wall, and more!
Banking Privileges All employees are eligible for free banking privileges at Wells Fargo Bank and the Public Service Credit Union (free checking, VISA checking card with ATM access, low loan rates, and more).
Flex-time Policy Things like doctor's appointments, taking your car in for service, and meeting a repair man to work on your refrigerator are inevitable. And just as inevitable are the times when you'll have to work extended hours to meet the needs of our business. At ASTECH InterMedia, we use a flex-time policy to help minimize these disruptions. Working from home, for example, makes more sense than burning a day of PTO waiting for the cable guy to show up. And if you're forced to travel on a Sunday, for example, to be at a client meeting on Monday morning, we're happy to make it up to you with compensatory time that you can use at your discretion.
Attire While other companies are still learning the value of "casual Fridays," we've implemented a casual attire policy that is in effect every day of every week of every month! The only exceptions are when we have clients or other important visitors to the office.
Location In case you haven't noticed, downtown Denver is booming! Our office building is within walking distance of nearly every amenity you might wish for — the 16th Street Mall, several banking institutions, the hip entertainment of LoDo, bus & light rail services, Union Station and more! In addition, our office building is home to several medical facilities, a convenience store, dry cleaner, shoe repair shop, florist, coffee shop, and many other services!
Cafeteria Plan All employees are eligible to participate in the cafeteria plan, also known as a Flexible Spending Account. This plan lets you use pre-tax earnings to cover daycare costs, co-pays, prescriptions and other expenses that can be anticipated. The result? Uncle Sam pays part of the bills!
